Middle-Aged Modest Lady Swimming Again!!!, February 15, 2011 By Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Coolibar UPF 50+ Women's Swim Tights - Sun Protective (Misc.) I haven't worn a swim suit for years. I am middle-aged, have big thighs, and am very prone to sunburn. So when I booked a cruise for myself and my daughter I knew I needed a solution. I had NO IDEA there was full-length swim wear and was happy to find these. They fit really nicely and are not as binding and heavy as regular spandex swim suits. They are not hard to get on and off.
The waistband is non-binding elastic and there is also a drawstring. I purchased based on my hip size and the fit is nice - not as tight as panty hose. There is also a tiny inside pocket big enough for a key. I am 5'8" tall - the legs are long enough.
I bought the long, ruched shirt (more like a tunic) and it looks fantastic. I will be able to swim, boat, snorkel, and feel comfortable and safe from sunburn.
POST-CRUISE UPDATE: I love these so much I bought a second pair. With these tights and a Coolibar swim tunic I felt protected and stylish! Words can't express... Read more

These tights fit great all over, including ankle openings that are elastic enough to go over feet easily when taking on and off, yet stay in place without upward creep. Only time will tell how well they endure exposure to pool water. If they last well, they will deserve another star.

I swim daily for 40 minutes and my legs would tan. Sun block was not good enough to stop it. And very time consuming to put all over my legs. These pants fit great though I chose it a size larger and are very comfortable in the water.
